Compact town centre
The densest line work sits where the main roads meet. Shophouse streets and short lanes form a small knot that anchors the whole composition.

Gerisek Map Poster & Print
From above, Gerisek is a small cluster of streets in northern Johor. A short commercial core sits where the main roads meet, and rows of houses spread out from it in modest blocks. Beyond the edge of town, the line work quickly gives way to large open parcels, so the poster shows a clear dense centre inside a quiet frame.
The surrounding land belongs to the agricultural lowlands of the Muar area. Plantation plots and village lanes run through it, and the roads look more like thin threads connecting settlements than a grid. That contrast between a tight centre and loose rural lines is what gives the map its character when it is reduced to black and white.
A Gerisek map poster works best at a scale that keeps both the town and its fringe in view. The main road becomes a strong spine, the side streets fill in texture around it, and the open ground gives the composition room to breathe. It is a modest subject, and its outline reads calm and uncluttered on the wall.

Rural road threads
Beyond the built-up area, single roads stretch out across open land toward neighbouring villages, drawing long, spare lines across the sheet.
Open lowland
Large agricultural parcels around the town show up as open space. That quiet margin makes the small street pattern stand out clearly.

Zakaj Gerisek
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Gerisek is the kind of place that rarely shows up in shops, which is exactly why a map of it means something to people who grew up there, have family in the district or once lived on one of its streets. The poster records a home town precisely, without any decoration.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to a family name, a year or a short note. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9 and come in six sizes, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
