Old town core
At the centre, streets tighten into small, irregular blocks where the oldest parts of the town sit, forming the darkest and busiest area of line work on the poster.

Iperu Map Poster & Print
Iperu is a town in the Remo area of Ogun State, in south-western Nigeria. From above it looks like many Yoruba towns that grew outwards from an old core: a knot of short, irregular streets and houses packed together, with longer roads running out towards neighbouring towns and the farmland between them.
On the map the town has no rigid grid. Lanes follow older footpaths and property lines, so blocks come in many sizes and turn at odd angles. Around the edges the pattern loosens into separate compounds, newer roads and green patches. Drawn in thin black lines, this uneven texture gives the page a hand-drawn quality that a planned city rarely has.
An Iperu map poster suits someone who grew up in Remo, still has family in the town or left it for Lagos, Ibadan or somewhere further away. The poster leaves out traffic, colour and noise and keeps only the network of streets, so each lane can be traced by memory.

Roads to neighbours
A few longer roads leave the centre and head across the surrounding land, tying Iperu to the other Remo towns and giving the composition clear directions.
Farmland edges
Towards the edges, built-up blocks give way to open ground and scattered buildings, so the town fades gradually into white space instead of stopping at a hard boundary.

Zakaj Iperu
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang a map of Iperu to keep a hometown close: the road to a family house, the way to school, the streets around a church or mosque. A map without labels leaves room for memories, and it reads as a quiet graphic even to guests who have never visited.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a family name or a year that matters, and choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
