Īteya Map Poster & Print
Īteya lies in the Arsi area of Oromia, in the Ethiopian highlands southeast of Addis Ababa. The surrounding plateau is known as one of the country's main grain-growing regions. On the map, the town appears as a small grid of streets along a main road, surrounded by broad expanses of cultivated land.
The rhythm of the town follows the farming year, and the roads leading out connect it to villages across the plateau. Beyond the fields, the terrain rises towards higher ground, and small streams cross the open land in shallow valleys.
An Īteya map poster is defined by space. The built-up area occupies only the centre of the frame, and the fields and roads around it give the print a calm, open feel. It is a portrait of a highland farming town, drawn with the same care as any capital.

Open plateau
Wide farmland surrounds the town on the Arsi highlands. On the poster it forms a light, spacious field around the compact centre.
Shallow stream valleys
Small watercourses run across the plateau in gentle curves, adding a few natural lines to an otherwise open landscape.
