Town core
Compact central streets form the densest part of the map, a small knot of lines from which the main roads leave in several directions toward the wider province.

Lucapa Map Poster & Print
Lucapa lies in Lunda Norte, in the far northeast of Angola, a region shaped by rivers that drain north toward the Congo basin. On a map the town appears as a compact core of streets with roads fanning outward across wide, lightly marked terrain. Watercourses and their wooded margins cut through the surrounding land, giving the composition a loose, organic frame.
The region is known above all for diamonds. Alluvial deposits along the riverbeds of the Lundas have been worked for generations, and the name Lucapa is familiar in the mining world for that reason. Much of that activity lies outside the town itself, so the map around the centre stays calm, with a few long roads connecting it to other settlements in the province.
Because the street network is modest and the landscape so open, a Lucapa map poster reads as a study in contrast between a small cluster of built lines and generous empty space. It suits a minimalist style well, especially at larger sizes, where the rivers and the thin threads of road become the main graphic elements of the page.

River corridors
Streams and rivers wind through the surrounding land toward the north, their courses adding soft, irregular curves that balance the straighter lines of the roads.
Open savanna
Large areas with few mapped features surround the town, leaving wide pale space on the poster that gives the central streets room to breathe.

Zakaj Lucapa
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Lucapa is far from most travel itineraries, which makes the map especially personal for those with a real connection to it, whether through family, work in the mining sector or years spent in Lunda Norte. It is a way to keep a remote place present at home.
Add a name, a date or a short line in the title and subtitle, adjust the coordinates line, and pick one of five styles, from Classic black and white to Sand. The 900 px preview is free, and the full set of HD files for six print sizes costs $9.
