Suburban loops
Curving streets and cul-de-sacs form rounded, looping patterns. At larger sizes this familiar layout gives the poster an almost botanical feel.

Oakdale Map Poster & Print
Oakdale is a suburban city in Washington County, Minnesota, just east of Saint Paul in the Twin Cities area. Its map is a clear example of postwar suburban growth. Winding residential streets, cul-de-sacs and loops are arranged around parks, ponds and small wetlands, and larger shopping and business blocks sit near the main roads.
Major highways shape the city. Interstate 694 runs north to south through its western part, and Interstate 94 passes along the south, so the poster is framed by broad, straight roads. Inside that frame the street pattern is softer and more natural, bending around the water and open spaces scattered across town.
Lakes and ponds appear throughout, many surrounded by parkland and trails, and they break the residential areas into distinct neighbourhoods. An Oakdale map poster turns this familiar suburban layout into a graphic composition. The loops of the streets and the round shapes of the water read especially well in black and white.

Ponds and wetlands
Small bodies of water are scattered across the city, often with parkland around them. They appear as soft, irregular shapes among the streets.
Interstate edges
I-694 and I-94 frame the city with long, straight lines. They give the composition a firm structure around its gentler interior streets and open spaces.

Zakaj Oakdale
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Oakdale is where many Twin Cities families put down roots, and a map of it often marks a milestone: a first house, a new baby, a move from somewhere else. It's a quiet way to keep that chapter on the wall.
Add a family name as the title, a move-in date as the subtitle, and your own coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. You can get HD files for $9 or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
