Arkansas River
The river sweeps along the northern side of the city in a wide bend. Its water gives the dense grid a natural boundary and a broad open shape at the top of the map.

Pine Bluff Map Poster & Print
Pine Bluff grew on a bluff above the Arkansas River, where the land begins to flatten into the Delta. On the map, a regular street grid spreads south from the riverbank. Railways and highways cross it at angles, and the river bends broadly along the northern edge. Farm fields and bottomland stretch beyond the town on every side.
The city is the seat of Jefferson County and one of the older river towns in Arkansas. It is home to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a historically Black university whose campus appears as a distinct block of open ground and paths. The river trade and later the railway set the direction of growth.
A Pine Bluff map poster is a study in straight lines and one strong curve. The downtown blocks and residential streets make a steady pattern, and the river and nearby lake bring softer, looping forms. Printed in black and white, it shows a Southern river town at its clearest: a grid, a waterway and the flat land around both.

Lake Pine Bluff
A long, narrow lake lies close to the centre. It shows up as a smooth curved form among the surrounding streets, parks and neighbourhoods.
University campus
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff campus stands out as a cluster of looping paths and open lawns. It reads differently from the rectilinear blocks around it.
