District headquarters
As the administrative centre of North Garo Hills, the town brings together government offices and a market area in a compact core, which appears as the densest part of the map.

Resubelpara Map Poster & Print
Resubelpara is the headquarters of North Garo Hills district in western Meghalaya. The town lies in the lower, rolling part of the Garo Hills, where forested slopes meet cultivated valleys. It is not a gridded town. The roads follow the terrain, curving along ridgelines and dropping into hollows, and the buildings gather wherever the ground allows.
The map shows a settlement shaped by topography. There is a central cluster of offices, markets and homes, with roads leading out towards other parts of the district and on towards the plains of Assam to the north. Streams and small watercourses run through the surrounding land, and the pattern of settlement gets sparser as the hills close in.
A Resubelpara map poster is a record of a young district town, created when North Garo Hills was carved out as a separate district. For people from the Garo Hills, the few main roads and the bends in them carry a lot of meaning. On the wall, those lines become a spare and quietly expressive drawing.

Terrain-led roads
The main routes bend with the hills instead of running straight, producing flowing lines that give the poster a natural rhythm.
Hills and watercourses
Streams and forested slopes surround the town. The built-up area thins out quickly and leaves generous open space around the centre.
