Sik Map Poster & Print
Sik is the main town of Sik district in the interior of Kedah, in northern Peninsular Malaysia, away from the coastal plains and set among rolling hills and forest. From above it is a small settlement. A few roads meet at a compact centre of shophouses and public buildings, and village houses spread out along the roads into the green land around them.
The district is largely rural, and much of the land is given over to rubber, oil palm and rice, with forested hills rising toward the Thai border to the north. The town's shape follows the roads and the terrain. There is no grid, only a handful of streets that make sense of the valley and its surroundings.
A Sik map poster captures a quiet inland town in a few precise lines, framed by the open space of the countryside. It suits people from Sik and the wider Kedah interior, families who have moved to Alor Setar, Penang or Kuala Lumpur, and anyone who appreciates small towns set in the hills.

Roads through hills
Roads leave Sik through hilly country toward other towns in Kedah, drawing gentle curves across the poster as they follow the terrain.
Rural surroundings
Plantations, paddy and forest surround the town. The poster leaves this land open, which emphasises how small and self-contained Sik is.
