Plain setting
The town sits on level ground, so the map shows no dramatic twists within the streets, only a steady spread of blocks fading gradually into the surrounding farmland.

Sumayl Map Poster & Print
Sumayl is the centre of a district in Duhok Governorate, in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, a short drive west of the city of Duhok. The town stands on flat ground. From above, its streets form a fairly regular pattern of blocks, and newer neighbourhoods extend along the roads that lead out across the plain in several directions.
The land around it is largely agricultural, a broad lowland of fields that stays open for kilometres before mountain ridges rise to the north and east. Main roads connect the town with Duhok, with Zakho and with the border areas toward Syria and Turkey. This makes it a crossroads for the western part of the governorate.
A Sumayl map poster keeps the composition simple: a compact town, straight roads reaching out in several directions and the field pattern that surrounds it. It suits someone who grew up here or has family in the district and wants a clear, uncluttered record of the place, without anything added that the map itself does not show.

Crossroads highways
Highways toward Duhok and toward the western border areas cross the district. They form the strongest lines on the sheet and frame the direction of the town's growth.
Field patterns
Around the edges, farm tracks and field boundaries form a loose geometric mesh that gives the poster texture well beyond the built-up area.
