Arterial road spine
A few long, straight roads carry the area's commerce and traffic. On the poster they appear as the strongest lines, and the neighbourhoods hang off them like branches.

Tillmans Corner Map Poster & Print
Tillmans Corner sits on the flat coastal plain of Mobile County, a short drive south-west of the city of Mobile. From above it reads as a loose suburban pattern rather than a planned grid: long arterial roads carry most of the traffic, and quieter residential loops and cul-de-sacs branch off them into blocks of houses and remaining woodland.
The shape of the place is set by roads more than by any old centre. Commercial strips line the main routes, and interstate and highway corridors pass close by, linking the community to Mobile and the Gulf Coast. Between them, small creeks and drainage channels wind through the low ground. On a map, these thin lines of water are what soften the otherwise straight geometry.
A Tillmans Corner map poster turns that everyday layout into a clean drawing. Without the traffic and signage, what remains is the rhythm of a Gulf Coast suburb: wide arteries, curved side streets and patches of open land. For people who grew up here or moved through it, the pattern is familiar at once, even if it has rarely been seen this way.

Curving residential loops
Away from the main routes, streets bend into loops and dead ends typical of postwar Southern suburbs, giving the map a softer, more organic texture between the arteries.
Low coastal creeks
Thin creeks and drainage channels cross the flat terrain on their way toward the bay and Gulf, adding quiet, irregular lines that break up the road pattern.

Zakaj Tillmans Corner
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For many people Tillmans Corner is simply home: the place of a first house, a school run or a long family connection to Mobile County. A map of it is modest and personal. It marks somewhere that matters to you rather than a famous skyline.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or date, and the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room it will hang in.
