Zemljevid
Tsotsin-Yurt Map Poster & Print
Tsotsin-Yurt lies on the plain east of Grozny, in the Kurchaloy district of Chechnya, where the land opens out toward the lowlands before the mountains rise to the south. From above, the village is a broad, regular settlement. Long streets run largely parallel to each other, and the house plots between them are deep.
Like many villages on the Chechen plain, Tsotsin-Yurt is large in population and area but low-rise, with homes set in their own yards and gardens. Published details about the village are limited, so the map shows what it can best: the settlement's orderly, spacious design.
In black and white, the long parallel streets become a strong, rhythmic pattern across the sheet, with fields and irrigation lines around the edges. A Tsotsin-Yurt map poster is a restrained, graphic portrait for people whose families come from this place.

Deep garden plots
Houses sit on generous plots with yards and gardens. This spaces the blocks widely and gives the map an open, even texture.
Plain and fields
Flat agricultural land surrounds the village on all sides. At the edges of the sheet it becomes a calm expanse around the street grid.
