Umarkhed Map Poster & Print
Umarkhed lies in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, in the Vidarbha region, near the district's southern edge. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by broad farmland, with main roads leading out toward neighbouring towns. The terrain is mostly gentle, so the map is shaped by roads and field boundaries more than by hills or water.
The Penganga River flows through the wider area and, for part of its course, marks the boundary between the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions. Farming defines the local economy, with cotton and other crops grown across the surrounding plains, and Umarkhed serves as a market and administrative centre for the villages around it.
An Umarkhed map poster shows the town clearly: a dense core of lanes, a ring of newer housing and roads fanning out across the fields. In black and white, the contrast between built-up streets and open land is striking, and the modest size of the town makes its structure easy to read at a glance.
