Diagonal highway
Boulder Highway runs at an angle across the north–south grid. That single slanted line gives the composition its strongest movement.

Whitney Map Poster & Print
Whitney is an unincorporated community in Clark County, Nevada, on the south-eastern side of the Las Vegas Valley between central Las Vegas and Henderson. From above, it reads like much of the valley: a regular grid of arterial roads, filled in with curving subdivision streets, cul-de-sacs and neighbourhood parks.
What sets this part of the valley apart is the terrain at its edge. Toward the east, the ground rises toward bare desert mountains, and the street network stops where the slopes begin. Boulder Highway, one of the older routes out of Las Vegas, crosses the area on a long diagonal against the grid.
A Whitney map poster captures that meeting of order and desert: square-mile blocks, dense residential fill and a hard edge where building gives way to open land. In a black-and-white print, the empty mountain ground makes the tightly packed suburban streets look even sharper.

Square-mile grid
Major roads divide the area into large, regular squares. Inside them, looping subdivision streets create a fine, repeating texture.
Desert edge
To the east, the streets end and open ground takes over. That blank space frames the neighbourhood and marks where the valley floor meets the mountains.

Zakaj Whitney
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Whitney is a place people call home rather than a postcard view, and that is exactly why a map of it means something. It can mark a first house, a childhood street or years spent in the valley, shown with the clean geometry of a desert suburb.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a move-in date, and adjust the coordinates line. Classic black & white suits the grid, while Blueprint or Sand bring out the desert setting. Noir and Paper are also available.
