Le faʻafanua
Bābolsar lies on the southern shore of the Caspian Sea in Māzandarān province, northern Iran, at the mouth of the Babol River. Its map is framed by water: the sea forms a clean edge along the north, while the river curves through the town before reaching the coast. Behind it stretches the fertile, green coastal plain of Māzandarān, with the Alborz mountains rising farther to the south.
The town has long been known as a seaside destination for Iranians, with beaches and waterfront walks along the Caspian. It is also home to the University of Mazandaran, whose campus adds a large, distinct parcel to the plan. The street pattern responds to both of its watery edges, orienting partly toward the shore and partly toward the riverbanks.
A Bābolsar map poster shows the meeting of river and sea with striking simplicity: one broad sweep of coastline, one winding channel, and the network of streets between them. For anyone who spent summers on the Caspian or studied in the town, it is a direct and personal image of a place defined by water.
The Babol River winds through the town and opens into the Caspian, the most expressive curve on the map and the reason the town grew exactly here.
A long, nearly straight coastline runs across the top of the frame, giving the poster a strong horizon line and a clear division between land and sea.
The University of Mazandaran occupies a sizeable site in Bābolsar, visible on the map as a distinct area of buildings and open ground within the town.

Aisea Bābolsar
Bābolsar holds memories for many families: summer holidays by the Caspian, student years at the university, or a childhood near the river. A map poster turns those associations into a calm, graphic piece that fits a living room or study.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a graduation year or a family name, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the result before buying.
