Le faʻafanua
Bequia is the largest of the Grenadines belonging to Saint Vincent, a short ferry ride south of the main island. It is small and hilly, with a coastline broken into headlands and bays. The feature that stands out most from above is Admiralty Bay on the west side, a deep, sheltered inlet that has made Bequia a natural stop for sailing yachts.
Port Elizabeth, the main settlement, lines the head of the bay with a waterfront path, small shops and the ferry dock. The island has a long tradition of wooden boatbuilding and seafaring. It is also one of the few places in the world where limited traditional whaling is still permitted under international rules, a practice that goes back to the nineteenth century.
Roads are few and follow the hills, linking Port Elizabeth with beaches and small communities around the island. A Bequia map poster frames the island with plenty of water around it. The bite of Admiralty Bay and the smaller coves on the windward side then carry the composition, much as the harbours shape life on the island.

The island's small harbour town curves around the head of the bay, a narrow strip of streets between the waterfront and the steep hills behind.
The eastern shore faces the Atlantic trade winds. It is more exposed and indented, and its small bays and headlands give the outline a jagged edge.

Aisea Bequia
Bequia has a devoted following among sailors, returning visitors and Vincentian families, many of whom know it best by the view into Admiralty Bay. A map poster keeps that view on the wall in a quieter form. Because the island is small, it stays readable in detail even in a smaller print.
Add a boat name, a crossing date or a family name to the title and subtitle, and keep or change the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles; Blueprint echoes an old nautical chart. The HD files are $9 for all six sizes, and printed matte posters come with an optional wooden frame.
