Le faʻafanua
Jepara lies on the northern coast of Central Java, where the land meets the Java Sea in a long, gently curving shoreline. From above, the town centre is close to the water. River mouths and small harbours break the coast. Roads leave the centre and run inland through villages and farmland. The map is less about a dense core than about a spread of settlements tied together by a few main roads.
East of Jepara, the land rises toward Mount Muria, an old volcano whose slopes shape the terrain around the regency. Off the coast, the Karimunjawa islands belong to Jepara's administration, though they lie far out to sea. On a Jepara map poster the coastline sets the tone, with the calm, open sea on one side and the fine lines of village roads on the other.
Jepara is best known for its wood carving. Its teak furniture and carved panels have been made here for generations and are sold around the world. The town is also the birthplace of Raden Ajeng Kartini, a writer and early advocate of education for women in Indonesia, whose birthday is marked as a national day.
The shoreline bends softly along the Java Sea, cut by river mouths and small harbours. It gives the map a long, open edge against the water.
Main roads link a chain of towns and villages across the regency. The fine, branching pattern spreads out from the coast into the countryside.
To the east the ground rises toward Mount Muria. There the roads start to curve around slopes instead of crossing flat land.

Aisea Jepara
A Jepara map is a quiet reminder of the coast, the workshops and the family roots behind every carved piece. The shoreline and scattered villages suit a calm interior, especially in Sand or Paper.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a name or year, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, then download the 300 DPI files in six sizes or order a printed poster.
