Orchards and fields
Cultivated land surrounds the town on all sides. Field boundaries and garden plots form a dense pattern of small shapes that frames the built-up centre.

Mapa
Īlkhchī Map Poster & Print
Īlkhchī is a town in Iran's East Azerbaijan province, southwest of Tabriz. It stands on the broad lowland between the slopes of Mount Sahand and the eastern shore of Lake Urmia. From above it appears as a compact settlement surrounded by an intricate patchwork of fields and orchards. Roads reach out across the plain toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The shape of the town comes as much from agriculture as from building. Irrigated plots, narrow lanes between garden walls and long, straight rural roads create a fine, dense texture around the built-up area. The lake lies close by to the west, and the flat land stretching toward it gives the map a sense of openness beyond the town's edge.
Īlkhchī is a small place, and its map is best read as a portrait of everyday life in the Azerbaijani countryside of northwest Iran. An Īlkhchī map poster keeps the central streets, the surrounding gardens and the routes to the wider region in one quiet, balanced composition. It suits anyone with family ties to the area.

The town lies on the plain east of Lake Urmia, the large salt lake of northwest Iran. The flat lowland toward the shore gives the map its open western side.
Roads across the plain
Straight rural roads run out from Īlkhchī toward neighbouring settlements and Tabriz. They draw strong lines through the softer agricultural texture around the town.
