Level lowland grid
Because the ground is so flat, the streets of Imishli run straight and meet at clear angles, giving the centre a tidy, even texture that prints cleanly at every size.

Mapa
Imishli Map Poster & Print
Imishli lies in the south of Azerbaijan on the wide Kura-Aras lowland, not far from the Aras River that forms part of the border with Iran. The land here is very flat, and that flatness shapes the map. Streets run in long, straight lines, the town spreads evenly rather than climbing or bending, and the fields around it are divided into regular strips and blocks.
Agriculture defines the surrounding district, and irrigation is what makes it possible on this dry plain. From above, canals and ditches appear as fine, disciplined lines cutting across the countryside, often running parallel to roads. The pattern gives the outskirts a measured, almost ruled quality that is quite different from the more irregular streets of older mountain towns elsewhere in the country.
An Imishli map poster makes the most of that geometry. The town centre forms a denser knot of streets, while the rest of the frame is filled with long lines and quiet rectangles of farmland. It is a restrained image, and in black and white it reads almost like a drawing of how people have organised a level, open plain.

Irrigation lines
Canals and ditches cross the surrounding fields as thin, parallel strokes. On the poster they add fine detail and show how water is brought across the dry Kura-Aras plain.
Field patterns
Around the town, agricultural plots form a patchwork of long rectangles. These shapes fill the outer frame and contrast with the denser built-up area at the centre.
