Statesville Map Poster & Print
Statesville is the seat of Iredell County in the Piedmont of North Carolina, north of Charlotte. The town sits at the junction of Interstate 40 and Interstate 77, and on a map these two highways form a strong cross that frames the city. The older centre is a compact grid, while newer neighbourhoods spread outward along curving roads through gently rolling countryside.
The downtown retains a traditional layout of brick commercial blocks around a central square, and the town has long served as a trading and railway hub for the surrounding farming region. Statesville is also known for hosting a hot-air balloon festival each autumn, which has become one of the better-known events in the region.
A Statesville map poster balances the regular downtown streets against the looser suburban pattern and the bold interstate lines. The result is a layered composition that tells the story of an older market town that has grown with the highways around it.

Downtown grid
The historic centre follows a compact, regular grid around the courthouse area, contrasting clearly with the winding streets of later neighbourhoods.
Rolling Piedmont edges
Beyond the centre, residential streets curve with the gentle terrain, and patches of woodland and farmland fill the spaces between developments.
