Gold-mining origins
Plast developed as a gold-mining settlement, and the industrial areas and worked ground around the town still show that origin clearly on the map.

Plast Map Poster & Print
Plast is a town in Chelyabinsk Oblast, in the southern foothills of the Urals. It grew up around gold mining, and its name is usually linked to the placer deposits that first drew prospectors to the area. From above, the town combines residential blocks and older low-rise streets with industrial land, and mining activity has clearly shaped the ground around it.
On a map the pattern is less regular than a planned city. Districts are grouped in separate clusters, joined by a few main roads, and there is open land, water and worked terrain between them. The result is a mix of dense rectangles and loose irregular shapes, which gives a black-and-white print a lot of variety within one frame.
A Plast map poster shows that working landscape directly. You see where people live, where industry sits and how roads connect the two, all without the usual tourist landmarks. For anyone with roots in the Urals mining towns, the layout will look familiar: practical, spread out and built around what lies under the ground.

Clustered districts
The town's residential areas are grouped in separate clusters linked by a few main roads, which gives the print a loose, patchwork structure.
Southern Urals terrain
Set in the eastern foothills of the southern Urals, the town is surrounded by open steppe-edge land and water bodies that break up the street pattern.

Kwa nini Plast
Ramani yenye maana
A map of Plast is usually a personal choice: a hometown, a parents' birthplace, the town where someone worked at the mine. The poster records that connection quietly, through the actual street pattern and without any decoration.
Add a title, a subtitle and your own coordinates line, maybe a family name or a meaningful year. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 set of HD files or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
