Alindao is a town in Basse-Kotto prefecture in the south of the Central African Republic, in wooded savanna country north of the Ubangi River. From above, the settlement is open and spread out. A few main roads cross near the centre, and around them smaller tracks separate family compounds and gardens. At the edges the built-up area thins into fields and bush.
It is one of the larger towns in its prefecture, and it serves as a local centre for the rural areas around it. The map has no dense grid or tall buildings to organise it.
