The Mediterranean edge
The shoreline runs almost straight along the northern side of town. It gives the poster a long, calm horizon line against which the streets are set.

Ash Shaykh Zuwayd Map Poster & Print
Ash Shaykh Zuwayd stands on the Mediterranean coast of North Sinai, between Al Arish to the west and Rafah to the east. It belongs to the narrow strip where the Sinai meets the sea. On a map, two parallel lines shape the town: the shoreline to the north and the coastal road that links the towns of the region.
Between the road and the beach, streets and plots form an uneven grid. Palm groves and farmland fill gaps that elsewhere in Sinai would be open sand. South of town, the settled area gives way to dunes and desert. The result is a band of streets pressed against a long, smooth coastline.
An Ash Shaykh Zuwayd map poster reduces this to its essentials: the clean edge of the sea, the straight line of the road and the knot of streets where they meet. The northern Sinai coast has long been a route between Egypt and the Levant, and the town's position on that route still shapes its map.

The coast road
The main road between Al Arish and Rafah runs through town parallel to the sea, and much of the street network is organised along it.
Palms and sand
Groves and cultivated plots sit close to the settlement, and beyond them the land turns to dunes. The map moves from dense lines to open space.

For families from North Sinai, this town means a particular shoreline and a particular set of streets. A map poster holds that geography in a form that can hang anywhere, and a line of text such as a family name or a year makes it personal.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates, then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files come in six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
