Central grid
The town's blocks line up in a regular pattern around the main square, the classic plan of the region, and it prints as a tidy cluster of rectangles.

Barrancas Map Poster & Print
Barrancas lies in Barinas state, in the Venezuelan llanos, the wide plains that run southeast from the foothills of the Andes. From above, the most noticeable thing is how much open country surrounds it. The town is a small, orderly block of streets, and fields, pasture and stretches of river woodland extend around it in every direction.
The centre follows the usual Venezuelan layout, with a regular grid organised around a main square and blocks of fairly even size. Near the edges the grid loosens. Roads turn into rural tracks, and the lines of the rivers and the tree cover along them start to take over the map.
A Barrancas map poster works with that contrast between a neat grid and the soft, irregular ground around it. The town serves as a local centre for farming communities in this part of the plains. In a region this flat, its roads and waterways stand out plainly on the sheet.

River corridors
Watercourses cross the plain near the town. Their winding paths and wooded banks give the map its only strong curves, set against the straight lines of streets and property boundaries.
Roads outward
A few main roads run out of the grid and across the llanos toward neighbouring towns. They pull long straight lines to the edges of the poster.

Näme üçin Barrancas
Many bar bolan karta
A map of Barrancas suits anyone with roots in the llanos. It shows the plain simply: a small grid, open land around it, and the rivers that decide how the country is shaped.
Add your own title, a subtitle and a date to the coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand matches the warm, dry-season colours of the plains well.
