Bourg-lès-Valence Map Poster & Print
Bourg-lès-Valence lies immediately north of Valence, in the Drôme department. It is set along the left bank of the Rhône. On a map, the two towns merge into one continuous urban area. Bourg-lès-Valence covers the northern part, where the street pattern meets the broad, straight channel of the river.
The Rhône is the defining feature of the drawing. It is wide and heavily engineered here, with embankments, a canal and hydroelectric works along its length. A little to the north, the Isère joins it. Behind the riverfront, the town spreads east in a mix of older streets, residential districts and industrial zones.
A Bourg-lès-Valence map poster brings together the river, the town and the edge of Valence in one frame. That makes it a good choice for anyone who wants to show exactly where they live, as opposed to the city next door. Blueprint and Classic black & white keep the water and road lines especially clear.
