Station core
The older centre gathers around the railway station, where streets are tightest and the grid is most regular, forming the dark heart of the drawing.

Chaozhou Map Poster & Print
Chaozhou is an urban township in Pingtung County, in the far south of Taiwan. It stands on the broad Pingtung Plain, and from above the town looks orderly: a compact grid of streets around the railway station, surrounded by a wide field of farmland divided into regular plots and crossed by straight country roads.
The town is a stop on the Pingtung railway line and has long served as a market and transport centre for the surrounding villages. To the east the land rises into the foothills of the Central Mountain Range, a change the map shows as a sudden thinning of roads where the plain ends.
A Chaozhou map poster works best at a scale that keeps both elements: the dense lanes of the town and the ruled pattern of fields and roads around it. Printed in fine black lines, the plain becomes almost graphic, a quiet geometry that says a lot about how southern Taiwan is farmed and settled.

Pingtung farmland
Country roads and field boundaries surround the town in long straight lines, giving the poster a woven texture beyond the built-up area.
Edge of the mountains
Toward the east the road network fades where the plain meets the foothills, leaving open space along one side of the composition.

Many bar bolan karta
The map is for people from Chaozhou or elsewhere in Pingtung who want something plainer than a photograph: the streets they walked to school and the road out to the fields, drawn without decoration.
