Ibar River
The river winds through the center of the map, and the town follows its curves closely, producing a long, sinuous shape rather than a compact center.

Leposaviq Map Poster & Print
Leposaviq, also known as Leposavić, is a town in northern Kosovo, set in the valley of the Ibar River. From above, the valley dictates everything: the town stretches along the river in a long, thin shape, and the surrounding hills leave little room for streets to spread sideways. The result is a linear settlement that follows the water's bends.
A main road and a railway line run through the valley beside the river, so the map shows three parallel lines moving together: water, road and track. Short side streets climb a little way up the slopes before giving way to the terrain. The mountains of the Kopaonik range rise to the east of the valley.
A Leposaviq map poster works well because of this strong, simple structure. The river's curves give the composition movement, while the steep ground on either side fills the edges with quiet contour texture. It is a map of a place defined by its landscape, where the valley itself is the main feature.

Road and railway
A main road and a rail line share the valley floor with the river, running side by side in parallel lines through town and beyond.
Steep valley sides
Hills rise quickly on both banks, limiting growth to the valley floor and giving the outer parts of the poster a heavier, folded texture.
