Sula River bends
The Sula runs in wide loops through its valley beside the town, and the curves of the river and its old channels give the map a flowing edge.

Lubny Map Poster & Print
Lubny lies in Poltava Oblast in central Ukraine, on the right bank of the Sula River. The town stands on higher ground above the river, and from above you can see the contrast between the street pattern on the upland and the wide, low floodplain along the water. The Sula winds in loops through meadows and wetlands on the eastern side.
Lubny is one of the older towns of the region, with a history that reaches back to the time of Kyivan Rus. Just outside town, on a hill above the Sula, stands the Mhar Monastery, a well-known religious site. The town grew as a trading and administrative centre and later as a railway town.
A Lubny map poster shows the way the town leans towards the river. Streets climb along the higher bank, bridges and roads cross the valley, and the curves of the Sula soften the eastern side of the map. It is a clear, legible layout that feels firmly rooted in its landscape.

High right bank
The town sits on raised ground above the river, so its streets stop at the edge of the slope before the floodplain opens up below.
Floodplain meadows
Low meadows and wetlands along the river form an open band on the map, separating the town from the fields on the far bank.
