Terraced streets
Long rows of houses run in parallel lines across the district. On the map they form a fine, repetitive texture that fills much of the print.

Manor Park Map Poster & Print
Manor Park is a residential district in the London Borough of Newham, in east London. From above it is a close pattern of long, parallel terraced streets, laid out largely in the late Victorian and Edwardian years as the railway brought new housing to the area. The streets are narrow and regular, with a railway line running through the district.
What gives Manor Park its distinctive map is the open space around it. To the west lies Wanstead Flats, part of Epping Forest, a broad area of grassland and ponds. To the north is the City of London Cemetery, one of the largest municipal cemeteries in the country, with its winding paths and planted avenues.
On a Manor Park map poster, the dense terraces meet these large, open areas with a sharp edge. The contrast between tightly packed streets and wide green spaces gives the print a strong structure, much more varied than a typical suburban plan.

Wanstead Flats
This broad expanse of grass and ponds borders the district to the west. It appears as a large open area with a few paths and water shapes crossing it.
City of London Cemetery
The cemetery to the north is laid out with curving roads and avenues. Its looping pattern contrasts clearly with the straight terraces nearby.
