Ocna Mureş Map Poster & Print
Ocna Mureş lies on the Mureş River in Alba County, in the heart of Transylvania. From above, the town follows the valley, with the river curving past its edge and streets laid out on the flatter ground nearby. Low hills rise around it, and farmland and small villages spread along the valley.
The town grew around salt, which has been extracted here for a very long time, and salt production shaped both its economy and its landscape. Old mining areas and salt lakes lie close to the town, part of a history that is visible in the ground as well as in local memory.
An Ocna Mureş map poster brings together the river, the valley town and the traces of salt workings in a single, calm composition. The flowing line of the Mureş and the compact streets around it give the print a clear, grounded structure.

Salt landscape
Near the town, former mining areas and salt lakes mark the ground. They appear as irregular shapes that set Ocna Mureş apart from other valley towns.
