Pissila is a town and rural commune in the Sanmatenga province of Burkina Faso's Centre-Nord region, east of the provincial capital Kaya. The surrounding country is flat to gently rolling, a landscape of millet and sorghum fields, shrubs and seasonal watercourses that fill during the rainy season and stay dry for much of the year.
