Vishāram Map Poster & Print
Vishāram lies in northern Tamil Nadu, in the Palar river basin between Vellore and Arcot. The surrounding land is mostly flat and farmed, with occasional rocky hills rising from the plain. On a map the town is a compact cluster of streets, with roads leading out through the fields to the larger towns nearby.
This part of Tamil Nadu has long been a crossroads, with a history tied to Arcot and the wider Vellore region. Vishāram itself grew as a local centre for the villages around it. Its layout is organic, not planned: a close grid of lanes near the centre, with newer housing extending along the main roads.
A Vishāram map poster shows a town with a clear centre and a gradual edge. The densest streets sit in the middle and thin out towards the fields, and a few main roads cross the frame towards Arcot and Vellore. It is a simple, legible portrait of a small South Indian town in its landscape.
