Káto Polemídia sits on the northwestern edge of Limassol, close enough to the city that on a map the two run together without a clear seam. Residential streets spread across rising ground and bend around the contours instead of following a strict grid. The built-up area thins out as it reaches the hills that separate the coast from the interior of the island.
The Garyllis river is the clearest natural line in the drawing. It comes down from the higher ground to the north and passes through the municipality on its way toward Limassol and the sea. In black and white its course reads as a narrow ribbon threading between blocks of housing, schools and the small commercial strips along the main roads.
A Káto Polemídia map poster frames a place that most visitors only pass through on their way into Limassol. For residents, though, it is a town with its own centre, churches and neighbourhoods. Seen from above, the cul-de-sacs, arterial roads and open hillside show a suburb that grew quickly and still kept its own name and identity.
The river runs north to south through the municipality toward Limassol. It stays visible as a thin line even where housing presses close on both banks and roads cross it at intervals.
To the north the streets start to curve and loop as the land climbs, and the dense suburban pattern gives way to scattered roads and open slopes.
The southern boundary merges into Limassol's own neighbourhoods, so the map shows one continuous fabric of streets running down toward the coastal plain and the sea.

For people who grew up here, or who moved to Limassol and settled on its quieter hillside edge, this map records the streets of daily life: the walk to school, the road home, the river crossing. It is a personal map rather than a postcard view, and that is its appeal on a wall.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a family name or the date you moved in, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital HD files cost $9, and printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
