Loanda lies in the northwest of Paraná, a region settled in the middle of the twentieth century as farmland was opened across the interior of the state. Towns founded in that period tend to share a clear planned layout, and from above Loanda reads that way: a regular grid of blocks with straight streets that end where the fields begin.
Around the town the landscape is gently rolling agricultural land, divided into large rectangular plots by long rural roads. On the map these outer lines continue the geometry of the centre, so the town and its surroundings appear as one ordered system. Small watercourses and patches of green break the pattern here and there.
A Loanda map poster brings out that sense of order. The grid of the centre, the wider streets that carry traffic in and out, and the thin lines of country roads stretching away give the composition a clean, architectural feel. It suits anyone who likes a map that looks deliberate, with every block in its place.
The centre is built from even rectangular blocks, a layout typical of towns founded during the settlement of northwest Paraná.
The grid stops abruptly where farmland begins, so the outline of the town is sharp and easy to read on the poster.
Long straight roads divide the surrounding countryside into large plots, extending the lines of the town far into the frame.

For people who grew up in Loanda or still have family there, the grid is a familiar diagram of home. Every block can be traced back to a street, a school or a house.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a family name or a year, and the map comes in five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
