Sheboygan sits on the western shore of Lake Michigan, north of Milwaukee. The Sheboygan River winds through the city before meeting the lake at a harbour sheltered by breakwaters. The whole eastern side of the map is open water, a clean edge that gives the street plan a strong sense of direction.
Away from the river, the city follows a regular grid of blocks across level ground to the west and south. Sheboygan calls itself the Bratwurst Capital of the World. Its lakefront is also known among freshwater surfers, who ride Lake Michigan swells off its beaches when the wind is right.
A Sheboygan map poster shows the harbour mouth, the river's curve through the older part of town and the long straight streets on either side. The lake fills a generous share of the frame, which suits minimal styles especially well, and the grid gives the design a calm, measured texture.
Where the river meets Lake Michigan, piers and breakwaters reach into the water. They form fine lines on the map that mark the city's working and recreational harbour.
On its final stretch, the Sheboygan River loops through the city. It crosses the grid at an angle, breaking up the streets with bridges and waterfront parcels.
Beaches, parks and a lakeside drive frame the eastern side of the city, where the street grid stops and the lake begins.

Ko e hā ʻa Sheboygan
Sheboygan belongs to people who know the lake in every season, from summer beaches to winter ice along the piers. A map of the city keeps that shoreline on the wall, whether you live nearby, have moved away or spent your summers there.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a street name or the year you arrived. Then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital HD files cost $9 in six sizes, or you can order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
