Te mapa
Adilcevaz lies on the northern shore of Lake Van, the largest lake in Turkey, in the province of Bitlis. On a map the lake takes up much of the frame, an expanse of open water with a shoreline that curves gently past the town. The built area climbs from the water toward higher ground.
Behind the town the land rises toward Mount Süphan, one of the high volcanic peaks of eastern Anatolia. Streets run roughly along the contours near the shore, then give way to lanes and field boundaries as the slope steepens. Orchards and farmland fill the gaps between the settlement and the mountain.
An Adilcevaz map poster is really a study of edges. The lake forms one clean boundary, the mountain another, and the town occupies the narrow strip between them. In black and white, the contrast between the open water and the dense lakeside streets is especially clear.
The northern shore of Lake Van runs along the poster, a smooth line of water against land that frames the town and fixes its orientation.
The land climbs steadily from the lake toward Mount Süphan, and the street pattern loosens into lanes and field tracks as the ground rises.
The densest streets sit close to the water, where the town's centre forms a small, tight cluster before spreading up the hillside.

Koteā ko Adilcevaz
Lake Van and Mount Süphan give Adilcevaz a setting that few small towns can match. A map of it suits anyone with roots in the region, or anyone who has travelled around the lake and wants to remember this shore.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint works especially well with the large expanse of water.
