Te mapa
Agoura Hills stretches along the Ventura Freeway west of the San Fernando Valley, where Los Angeles County gives way to the hills of the Conejo area. US 101 runs through the city from east to west, and on the map it forms a strong central spine. Streets climb away from it in both directions, following valleys and ridgelines rather than any grid.
To the south rise the Santa Monica Mountains, and the landmark peak of Ladyface Mountain stands directly above the city. That terrain is why the street pattern looks so organic: winding roads, cul-de-sacs pressed into canyons and large blank areas where the slopes are too steep to build on. The city incorporated in 1982, and much of its layout dates from the decades just before.
An Agoura Hills map poster turns this landscape into a study of curves. Open space and parkland appear as pale territory pressing in on the neighbourhoods, while the freeway and its frontage roads cut a clean line through the middle. The name itself goes back to a Basque shepherd, Pierre Agoure, whose ranch gave the area its first label on local maps.
US 101 crosses the city from east to west with its interchanges and parallel frontage roads, a firm straight axis that organises everything around it.
The distinctive peak south of the freeway leaves a broad unbuilt area on the map, with streets stopping short where the slopes become too steep.
Residential streets curl into side valleys and along ridges, forming branching, leaf-like patterns that look very different from the grids of the city further east.

Koteā ko Agoura Hills
People hang Agoura Hills for the life that fits between the hills: a first home near the trails, school years at the edge of the mountains, or a move out of the city for more space. Its winding streets make an elegant, almost botanical print.
Personalise the title, write a date or a line of your own in the subtitle, and keep the coordinates for reference. Five styles are offered, including Blueprint and Sand, with 300 DPI files in six sizes or a printed poster shipped by a print partner.
