Te mapa
Aguilares lies in the south of Tucumán province in northwestern Argentina, on the flat land between the provincial capital and the Catamarca border. From above, the town follows the classic Argentine grid, with square blocks arranged around a central plaza. The pattern is broken only by the railway line and a few diagonal roads. To the west the land begins to rise toward the foothills of the Sierra del Aconquija.
The area around Aguilares is sugar-cane country, as much of Tucumán is, and sugar production has long shaped local work and the rhythm of the year. The town serves as a centre for the surrounding farms and smaller communities.
An Aguilares map poster shows the neat order of the grid against the open agricultural land around it. The regular blocks create a strong, balanced pattern, and the railway and main roads add direction. It is a clean, confident design that reflects the character of a planned town on the plain.

The railway cuts through the grid at an angle. It adds a strong line that breaks the regular pattern of the streets.
Farmland surrounds the town on all sides. On the map it appears as open space, with rural roads extending toward the western foothills.

For people from Aguilares or anywhere in Tucumán, the map is a direct reminder of home. The strong grid and open surroundings also make it a striking piece of design in its own right.
