Te mapa
Aïn Touta is a town in Batna province in northeastern Algeria, on the high ground where the Aurès mountains meet the approaches to the Sahara. It lies on the main route between Batna and Biskra, and much of its layout is tied to that corridor. On the map, a compact street plan sits in a broad valley, framed by ridges and dry slopes.
The name begins with ain, the Arabic word for a spring, a reminder of how settlement in this dry landscape followed water. The town has grown along its main roads, with residential districts filling the valley floor and farmland around the edges. An Aïn Touta map poster shows this pattern of a town set in a wide, open landscape.
Beyond the streets, the terrain becomes sparse and textured: dry riverbeds, tracks and the lower slopes of the mountains. Because the place is modest in size and not widely documented, the poster keeps to what is visible from above, letting the contrast between the dense centre and the open surroundings carry the design.
The main road and railway toward Biskra pass through the area, long straight lines that give the map its main direction and connect the town to the south.
Aïn Touta occupies a broad valley between ridges, so the built-up area has a clear shape, with open land around it on every side.
Seasonal watercourses cut across the surrounding plain, thin branching lines that add a delicate texture to the outer edges of the poster.

The map is usually for people with family ties to the Aurès, whether they still live in Batna province or have moved to Algiers, Constantine or abroad. Seen from above, the town becomes a clear, personal image of home.
Choose your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name or year, and keep the coordinates line. Five styles are available, with Sand particularly suited to the dry setting. Download HD files for $9, or order a printed poster with an optional frame.
