Te mapa
Al Jumayl lies in northwest Libya, in the An Nuqat al Khams district between Tripoli and the Tunisian border. It sits on the Jafara Plain, the flat coastal lowland that runs inland from the Mediterranean toward the Nafusa Mountains. On the map, the town appears as a cluster of streets on open, level ground, with roads leading out in several directions.
The surrounding area is farmland, with olive groves and irrigated plots divided into regular parcels. Houses and farms spread along the roads beyond the centre, so the edges of the town are gradual rather than sharp. On an Al Jumayl map poster, this loose, spreading pattern contrasts with the more compact streets at the centre.
Roads connect the town with the coast to the north and with neighbouring towns across the plain. The map shows a quiet agricultural town in a flat landscape, where the shape of fields and roads is just as important as the streets themselves.
The central streets form a compact cluster on level ground, the densest part of the map and the meeting point of the main roads.
Routes lead out across the Jafara Plain toward the coast and nearby towns, long lines that give the map its structure.
Olive groves and cultivated plots surround the town in regular blocks, with houses scattered along the roads between them.
