Te mapa
Amorebieta, officially Amorebieta-Etxano, lies in Biscay between Bilbao and Durango. The Ibaizabal river passes through it, along with the main road and rail routes that link inland Basque towns to the coast. On a map, these corridors stand out first: parallel lines following the valley, with the town centre gathered around them.
Around the centre, the pattern loosens. Industrial estates appear as large rectangles on the flatter land, residential streets climb short slopes, and the rural Etxano side of the municipality breaks up into farmland and forest. The mix of dense town, big factory blocks and open hills gives the map a varied texture.
The town is also known for SD Amorebieta, a football club that has played in Spain's professional divisions despite its home town's modest size. An Amorebieta map poster shows a place shaped by movement and work, where the river and roads carve out the room that everything else has to fit into.
The river runs through the town and sets the orientation of the whole map, with roads and rail lines following its course along the valley floor.
Large, regular factory and warehouse shapes sit on the flatter ground and contrast with the smaller, tighter blocks of the town centre.
Beyond the built-up area, scattered farmsteads, lanes and patches of woodland spread across the hills of the rural part of the municipality.

Koteā ko Amorebieta
People know Amorebieta through daily routine: the commute, the Sunday match, the walk along the river. A map of it is less a souvenir than a record of ordinary life, which is often what gives it meaning.
You can change the title and subtitle, keep or edit the coordinates, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes six sizes, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
