Te mapa
Andirá lies in the north of Paraná, in the region known as Norte Pioneiro, close to the border with São Paulo state. Like many towns founded during the twentieth-century settlement of this part of Brazil, it was planned on a regular grid. On a map its blocks form a neat, compact pattern of streets set in gently rolling countryside.
Coffee farming drew settlers to northern Paraná, and the region's deep red soils still support extensive agriculture, with a mix of crops covering the hills around the town. Roads leave Andirá in straight lines across the farmland toward neighbouring towns. Small streams cut shallow green valleys through the fields between them.
An Andirá map poster shows what makes these Paraná towns so graphic from above: the disciplined grid, the square blocks of the centre, the clear edge where town becomes farmland. In a minimal black-and-white design that geometry becomes the whole point, a quiet, well-proportioned pattern that holds the eye without any need for landmarks.
Andirá's streets cross at right angles in a regular chequerboard, a legacy of the planned settlement of northern Paraná and the most striking feature of the map.
Beyond the last blocks, fields spread over gentle hills, their boundaries forming a looser, larger pattern that frames the dense grid of the town.
Small watercourses wind through the countryside around Andirá, their tree-lined banks appearing on the map as soft curving lines against the straight roads.

For anyone who grew up in Andirá or has family in the Norte Pioneiro, the map shows the exact grid of home in a form that sits easily in a modern interior. Its regular geometry makes it a strong design piece even for those who have never visited.
