Te mapa
Aplahoué is a town in Kouffo Department in south-western Benin, close to the border with Togo. The land here is gently rolling and largely agricultural, with fields, palm groves and scattered villages. On the map, the town appears as a network of streets spreading out along main roads, with residential areas stretching into the surrounding farmland.
The town serves as a local administrative and market centre for a rural area where most people live in villages and farm small plots. From above, the pattern is loose and organic: a denser centre, radiating roads, and settlements scattered along tracks through the countryside.
An Aplahoué map poster frames the town within this landscape. The main roads provide structure, the residential lanes add detail near the centre, and the fields and villages around them fill the edges. The composition feels open and grounded, a portrait of a town rooted in its farming region.
The denser core of the town, where roads converge, forms the clearest cluster of streets and buildings on the map.
Several roads leave the centre toward nearby towns and the Togo border, giving the map its main lines and a sense of direction.
Rolling agricultural land with small villages surrounds the town, drawn as open space crossed by tracks and scattered building clusters.
