Te mapa
Avellaneda is a town in the northeast of Santa Fe province in Argentina, directly next to the city of Reconquista. On a map the two form a continuous urban area. Avellaneda's streets follow the strict square grid typical of towns on the Argentine plains.
The town was founded in the late nineteenth century by immigrants from Friuli in northern Italy. It later became a centre of agriculture and agro-industry. To the east the land drops toward the wide, wet floodplain of the Paraná River system.
An Avellaneda map poster is a study in order. Square blocks repeat across the town, with wide avenues and farm roads extending the grid into the countryside. On the eastern side, the rigid pattern gives way to the irregular shapes of wetlands and river channels.
The town is laid out in regular square blocks. This produces an even, repeating pattern that looks especially sharp in black and white.
The urban area joins seamlessly with neighbouring Reconquista. The map shows one large grid made up of two towns.
East of town lie wetlands and floodplain channels. Their irregular shapes contrast strongly with the straight-line streets.

Koteā ko Avellaneda
Avellaneda is a map for descendants of the Friulian settlers, for families from northern Santa Fe and for anyone who likes clean geometry. The grid works well as a minimalist poster in any room.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a family surname or a founding year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
