Te mapa
Batang is a regency town on the north coast of Central Java, right next to Pekalongan to the east. On a map it is shaped by the Java Sea to the north and by the long transport corridor that runs along Java's northern coast. The main coastal road and the railway cross the town from west to east, with neighbourhoods clustering around them.
The north coast of Java has long been a region of trade, fishing and textiles, and the Pekalongan area is known across Indonesia for batik. Batang shares in that heritage. Behind the coast, the land rises gradually toward the uplands, with rice fields and plantations filling the space between the shore and the hills.
A Batang map poster shows a classic pattern of Java's northern coastal towns. The shoreline and river mouth form one edge, the transport corridor forms a strong horizontal line, and the town fills in around both. Beyond that, the grid breaks into village roads and farmland. The composition is simple, clear and grounded in its geography.
The coastline forms the northern edge of the map, with the river mouth and fishing areas adding irregular detail to the shore.
The main road and railway along Java's north coast run through the town in parallel, forming its strongest lines.
To the east the built-up area continues toward neighbouring Pekalongan, so on a wider crop the two towns begin to merge.

Batang is home to many families whose relatives now live and work across Indonesia and abroad. A map of the town makes a meaningful gift and a calm, graphic reminder of the coast.
