Te mapa
Bebedouro lies on the plateau of northern São Paulo state, and like many interior towns its map is built on a regular grid of blocks around a central square, extended over time by newer neighbourhoods and ringed by highways. Beyond the last streets the pattern changes abruptly to large rectangular fields that reach to the horizon in every direction.
The surrounding district is one of Brazil's traditional citrus areas, and Bebedouro is closely associated with orange growing and research into citrus crops. Sugar cane shares much of the land around it. The town is also home to a museum of historic vehicles, weapons and machinery that draws visitors from across the region.
A Bebedouro map poster shows a clear, almost diagrammatic town: straight streets, squares at regular intervals and a few diagonal roads leading out to the countryside. The simplicity is the appeal, since the grid reads cleanly at every size and the edges of the town fade into open land.
The older core follows an even chessboard of blocks, with squares set into the pattern, a layout that reads as a crisp texture in black and white.
Regional roads curve around the built-up area and meet at junctions on its edges, drawing a loose outline that contains the town.
Where the streets end, the map opens onto long straight field boundaries and rural roads, the landscape of citrus and cane that surrounds the town.

Koteā ko Bebedouro
Bebedouro is a map for people who grew up there, moved away for work or study, or have family in the interior of São Paulo. A home town grid, printed simply, often means more than a famous skyline.
Change the title and subtitle to a surname, a street or a year, keep or edit the coordinates, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files come in six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF.
