Te mapa
Bsharri sits high in the mountains of North Lebanon, on the edge of the Qadisha Valley, and its map is shaped by dramatic terrain. The town's streets wrap along the slope in tight curves, stacked one above another, while the valley falls away steeply to one side. Roads leave the town in hairpin bends, climbing toward the higher mountains or descending toward the coast.
The Qadisha Valley, with its monasteries and hermitages carved into the cliffs, is a UNESCO World Heritage site together with the Forest of the Cedars of God, which lies above the town. Bsharri is also the birthplace of the poet and artist Khalil Gibran, whose museum occupies a former monastery on the edge of town, where he is buried.
A Bsharri map poster brings together the curling streets of the town, the deep line of the valley and the mountain roads that link it all. It is one of the most striking compositions in Lebanon, a place where the landscape shapes every line. For Lebanese families at home and abroad, and for admirers of Gibran, it carries real meaning.
A deep, steep-sided valley runs beside the town, home to ancient monasteries and hermitages and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Above the town lies the protected grove of Lebanese cedars, some of the oldest in the country and a national symbol of Lebanon.
Roads climb and descend through tight hairpin bends, their looping shapes giving the map a strong sense of the mountain terrain.

Koteā ko Bsharri
Bsharri has a strong pull for the Lebanese diaspora, for readers of Gibran and for anyone who has stood at the valley's edge. Its map is both a personal memento and a striking piece of design.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir works especially well with the dense, curving street lines.
