Te mapa
Burnsville sits on the south bank of the Minnesota River, across the valley from Bloomington and the southern edge of the Twin Cities. From above, the river's wide, marshy floodplain fills the northern edge of the map, and a steep bluff line separates it from the suburban streets that spread south and west across the higher ground.
Interstate 35 divides into 35W and 35E in the Burnsville area, sending one branch toward Minneapolis and the other toward Saint Paul. That fork sits among cul-de-sac neighbourhoods, commercial strips and a scatter of small lakes, including Crystal Lake and Lake Alimagnet, which appear as clean pale shapes among the streets.
A Burnsville map poster shows a typical Upper Midwest suburb with more variety than you might expect: river bottomland, wooded bluffs, the ski slopes of Buck Hill near the southern edge, and a large regional mall area. The mix of curving residential streets and straight arterial roads gives the print a layered, even texture.
The northern edge is taken up by the river's broad floodplain, where wetlands and channels make an open, irregular band next to the dense streets above the bluff.
Interstate 35 divides into its W and E branches in this area. The long, diverging ramps make one of the most recognisable line patterns on the map.
Crystal Lake, Lake Alimagnet and smaller ponds break up the residential grid. Their outlines give the print breathing room and landmarks that residents know right away.

Koteā ko Burnsville
Burnsville is often where people buy a first house, raise children or settle after years in the city, and a map of it marks that chapter. The lakes and the river valley make a print that looks considered, not generic.
Add a family name, a move-in date or your street's coordinates to the title and subtitle lines. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI files for $9 or order a printed poster, framed if you like.
