Buzovna Map Poster & Print
Buzovna is on the northern coast of the Absheron Peninsula, northeast of central Baku, facing the Caspian Sea. The coastline forms one side of the map, with a long edge of sand and shallow water. Inland, the settlement becomes a close network of small streets and walled plots, typical of Absheron villages.
Like other Absheron coastal settlements, Buzovna has long been a summer destination for Baku residents. Dacha plots, beaches and seasonal homes spread along the shore. The peninsula itself is dry and flat, and the streets are not organised around rivers or hills. They grow from old village cores and from plot boundaries, which gives the lanes their irregular, angular pattern.
