Te mapa
Cambará lies in the far north of Paraná, close to the state line with São Paulo. The region's rolling farmland was settled largely during the spread of coffee growing in the early twentieth century. Like many towns in this part of Brazil, Cambará was planned rather than left to grow on its own. Its centre shows a regular chequerboard of blocks that is easy to read from above.
The grid breaks only where the terrain or a main road requires it. Avenues run in straight lines to the edge of town, where the pattern loosens into newer neighbourhoods and then stops abruptly at the fields. On a Cambará map poster, this crisp boundary between street network and open countryside creates a strong, almost architectural composition.
Agriculture still sets the rhythm of the surrounding municipality. Beyond the town, the land is marked by field boundaries, farm tracks and the lines of small streams. These rural traces add texture to wider frames. A tighter crop focuses on the orderly core that residents know block by block, from the main square to the quieter streets at the edge.
Regular square blocks form the heart of town. This planning pattern, typical of northern Paraná, becomes a clean, repeating texture on paper.
The street grid stops where farmland begins, so the map has a clearly defined outline instead of a gradual, sprawling suburban fade.
Farm tracks, field edges and small watercourses around Cambará add fine, irregular lines at wider scales and balance the precision of the planned centre.

Koteā ko Cambará
Anyone who grew up in Cambará, or left it for Londrina, Curitiba or São Paulo, will recognise the grid at once: the school, the square, the street where a relative lived. A map poster holds those places in a form that feels considered, not nostalgic.
