Te mapa
Canavieiras lies on the southern coast of Bahia, where the Rio Pardo reaches the Atlantic. The town occupies low ground among estuaries, and the map shows water on almost every side: the river, tidal channels threading through mangroves, and the straight line of the ocean beach running along the coast.
The historic centre sits close to the river, with a small, compact street plan dating from the colonial period, when the region's wealth came from cacao. Beyond it, sandy islands and mangrove flats form a maze of channels. Offshore waters here are known among anglers for billfish, which has made the town a destination for sport fishing.
A Canavieiras map poster is mostly about the edges between land and water. The branching channels create delicate, irregular shapes, the beach draws a long clean line, and the town's grid appears as a small, dense block within all that openness. In Blueprint or Paper the estuary looks almost like a hand-drawn chart.
The Pardo River widens into an estuary as it reaches the sea, splitting into channels and leaving islands that give the map its complex, branching shape.
Narrow tidal creeks thread through the mangrove flats around the town, drawing fine curving lines that change the map from urban plan to coastal chart.
A long, straight stretch of sand runs along the ocean side, a clean edge that contrasts with the winding channels and the small, dense historic centre.

Koteā ko Canavieiras
Canavieiras is remembered for its quiet coast, its river and its fishing boats. For those who spent summers there, or come from the cacao coast of Bahia, the map keeps the estuary and the town in a single frame.
